1: The application process of IPU for all the affiliated institutes is done via a centralised application portal.
1.1: Visit the official IPU website www.ipu.ac.in and click on ‘Admissions’.
1.2. Read the instructions and click on ‘Start’.
1.3. Select the course and fill in the required details. Select CET or Non-CET.
1.4. Candidates will receive an application sequence number, user ID, and password.
1.5. Login and fill in the form.
1.6. Upload documents and pay the application fee.
2: Report for IPU CET
The e-admit card is available on the official website of GGSIPU. Candidates must appear for the exam at the designated center on or before the scheduled time. Candidates should keep checking the GGSIPU website for any admission-related questions.
3: CET Merit List & Counselling
The GGSIPU merit list is prepared based on the relative merit of the candidates. Candidates are then called for counseling. The list of selected students is displayed on the university website a week before the counseling begins. Seats are allocated to candidates only after participating in the counseling. Candidates must pay the course fees on the spot during counseling for admission.
4: Document Verification
Students must report for document verification.
IPU CUET Counselling Process 2026
GGSIPU also accepts CUET scores. IPU conducts counseling both online and offline. The counseling process for admission to IPU through CUET is given below:
1: Register for Counselling
Candidates have to apply for counselling through online or offline mode.
2: Login
Interested candidates must log in with their ID and password to fill out the application form. The IPU counseling fee is ₹1,000. Candidates must fill in all the details and take a printout of the form. The university conducts online document verification based on the details provided by the candidate during enrollment.
3: Choice Filling & Seat Allocation
Interested candidates can download their preference form from the GGSIPU brochure. Candidates must visit the university’s official website. It is important to note that the preference form is valid for only one counseling round. Therefore, a new preference form must be filled out for each round. Seats are allocated based on candidates’ merit, category, and region.
