Established in 1998 under the aegis of the Mysore-based JSS College of Technology, the Noida-based JSS Academy of Technical Education (JSSATE) has grown to become one of the most prestigious engineering institutions in Uttar Pradesh. Affiliated to the Lucknow-based Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) and approved by the AICTE, the institute plays a key role in promoting technical education in the National Capital Region. The institute currently has over 4,000 students studying in nine B.Tech branches and six postgraduate programmes (including M.Tech and MBA), which offer a balanced blend of theoretical and practical education. In the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) 2026, JSSATE Noida secured a rank in the band of 201-300 in the Engineering category, highlighting its consistent academic quality and research contributions. It has also been awarded a 4.5-star rating by the Innovation Cell of the Ministry of Education for fostering entrepreneurship and innovation among students. JSS at Noida offers 15 specialized programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, all aligned with the AKTU curriculum and accredited by the NBA. These programs are available in branches such as CSE and ECE. Admissions at the undergraduate level are focused on emerging areas, with 120 seats each in CSE (AI and ML) and CSE (Data Science).
